SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES to get ready for providing complete HD DVD-ROM Disc Production System working together with Memory-Tech

SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES, the world's leading system integrator of optical disc replication equipment, announced today that it will get ready for providing complete HD DVD-ROM disc production in in-depth technical collaboration with Memory-Tech Corporation, Japan, one of the biggest DVD manufacturers.

The SINGULUS SPACELINE II for DVD-ROM replication will also be capable for HD DVD-ROM mass production by March 2005 for both single and dual layer. The machine will accomplish the best level of cost-efficient disc production and high-level product quality and yield as the current DVD-9 line. Furthermore, the SPACELINE II will be fully capable for both DVD and HD DVD disc manufacturing with one touch operation production switching.

Toshiba, NEC, Sanyo and Thomson/RCA announced that they will release HD DVD players and drives in the world-wide market next year. Four major Hollywood studios and two Japanese software companies announced that they will bring exciting high-quality HD DVD software to the market along with the hardware product release next year.
