What documents are necessary for return deliveries?
In all cases you need the completely filled out RMA formular (Return Material Authorisation).
For pumps and mass flow controllers:
You need to fill out the declaration of decontamination completely (with signature and stamp) of the respective producer (Leybold, Pfeiffer, Westphal).
For repairs of customer-owned mass flow controllers:
You need in addition the completely filled out end user formular. (with signature and stamp)
How to fill out the RMA formular?
- Customer: Please mention your complete address
- Quantity: Please note, how many pieces you return
- Partnumber: Please mention SINGULUS part number
- Description: Specific Part Name
- SN: Serial Number of the part
- Delivered with order: for already exchanged or wrong ordered parts, please mention SINGULUS order number, with which you received the part
- Machine SN: Serial number of SINGULUS machine
- Reason for return: Fill in -1- for broken already exchanged parts; Fill in -2- for returns of parts, which you don't need; Fill in -3- for parts, which you want back, after repair
- Failure description: Explanation of the occurred problem or damage
Repairs process of customer-owned parts?
- Please send back the broken parts with all necessary documents (RMA, declaration of contamination, end user formular)
- As soon as we receive the parts, you will receive an order confirmation from us, with the approximately lead time for the repair
- As soon as, we receive the cost estimate from our supplier, we will send you an estimate for the repair costs
- There are 3 possibilities:
a) you want us to proceed the repair, as offered ( handlingcosts are included)
b) you want us to scrap the part (we have to invoice the handling costs)
c) you want us to send the part unrepaired back to you (we have to invoice the handling costs)
*(handling cost = price of checking, disassembly & estimate) - If you decide for a repair, we will send you the part as soon as the repair is finished
