Kahl am Main, March 10, 2006 - Roland Lacher, founder and Chairman of the Executive Board of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG, decided to terminate his operating activities as Chairman of the Executive Board and to retire. At the same time Klaus Hammen, so far Executive Board member responsible for Marketing, Sales and Development, will be appointed CEO of the Executive Board.
The long-time Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Alexander von Engelhardt, will not make himself available for reelection on conclusion of his current term of office due to reasons of age. The Supervisory Board will propose to the Annual General Meeting on June 23, 2006 to appoint Mr. Roland Lacher as new member of the Supervisory Board. Furthermore, it is also intended to elect Mr. Lacher as Chairman of the Supervisory Board in the constituent meeting of the Supervisory Board immediately after the Annual General Meeting.
Roland Lacher already came to the decision to retire from the operating day to day business some time ago. In cooperation with the Supervisory Board the additional change of generations at the top management level has been systematically prepared since 2004. After Klaus Hammen’s appointment as member of the executive board in 2002, he will also act as CEO in the future.
Together with Stefan A. Baustert, Chief Financial Officer since January 2003, the Executive Board of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG will therefore be comprised of two members henceforth.
