Kahl am Main, December 07, 2009 - SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) sells 100 % of the shares of the HamaTech APE GmbH & Co. KG, Sternenfels/Germany, including the international subsidiaries to the SÜSS MicroTec AG (SÜSS), Garching/Germany. The relevant letter of intent was signed by both parties involved on December 6, 2009. In addition, the acquisition includes the purchase of the buildings at the site in Sternenfels. The closing of the transaction is scheduled for the end of December 2009. SÜSS will continue to employ all of HamaTech APE's employees.
In order not to jeopardize the ongoing contractual negotiations which are scheduled to be completed by the end of the business year 2009, both parties agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction for the time being.
After the sale of all of shares the company will no longer be included in the scope of consolidation of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Group. In 2009 HamaTech APE generates sales of approximately € 11 million.
