Kahl am Main, September 7, 2007 - SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) has installed and commissioned a SPACELINE II line for HD DVD production at the major Indian replicator KRCD (India) Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. KRCD, one of the leading manufacturers of DVD in India, will now start HD DVD production on the SPACELINE II, as one of the first Indian companies to do so.

Combo production machine SPACELINE II for HD DVD and DVD
The first HD DVD production system was already launched by SINGULUS in summer 2005. These machines are able to produce DVD as well as the new HD DVD. Therefore, SINGULUS enables its customers to respond quickly with respect to the new formats development. As early as December 2004, SINGULUS had concluded a partnership for development of HD DVD production technology with MemoryTech/Toshiba. The majority of all HD DVD movies is produced on SPACELINE II production equipment. The German-based company is the leading equipment supplier and has a global market share of more than 65 %. Since 2006 SINGULUS has been delivering HD DVD enabled production lines and installed nearly 200 machines worldwide.
