Kahl am Main, June 6, 2007 - The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS) received an additional follow-up order for “SINGULUS Nano Deposition Technologies� in the past days. A US-customer ordered another TIMARIS coating machine for thin film heads (read/write heads). The orders received for these thin film coating machines operating in the nano-dimension are currently exceeding EUR 4 million.
SINGULUS had already been able to establish itself in the market with its innovative TIMARIS machine concept in the past year through several successful sales. In the meantime, the first machines were delivered to customers from the area of magnetic storage media and recognized as sales in the 1st quarter. The successful commissioning has now resulted in an additional follow-up order.
For the current business year SINGULUS expects further orders in this new business segment. This business division will generate double-digit million sales for the first time in 2007.
