- Orders for solar cell coating machine received
- Additional promising projects for silicon and thin-film solar technology under discussion
Kahl am Main, September 14, 2010 - The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS) reports a successful participation at the largest professional solar fair, the 25th EU PVSEC in Valencia, Spain. Besides the silicon solar cell coating machine SINGULAR, a STANGL cleaning machine for thin-film solar cells of the VITRUM type was presented to the professional fair attendants.
SINGULUS had already reported the order intake of two SINGULAR inline coating machines at the 25th EU PVSEC in the middle of the past week. During the solar fair talks about additional orders for the anti-reflective coating of silicon solar cells were held.
Process equipment for the thin-film solar technology was also in the spotlight. In particular, the CIS/CIGS & CdTe machines were subjects of negotiations.
Dr.-Ing. Stefan Rinck, Chief Executive Officer of SINGULUS, comments: "Our process know-how for wet-chemical processes and vacuum coating as well as our automation technology are continuing to establish themselves. We expect the talks in Valencia to result in the conclusion of new solar orders in the next couple of weeks."
The 25th EU PVSEC, which was held in Valencia from September 6-10, 2010, was attended by 38,000 visitors from all around the world. 963 international producers, suppliers and service providers spanning the entire photovoltaics range were present as exhibitors. 4,540 solar technology experts attended the international trade conference, at which SINGULUS contributed a speech about anti-reflective coating of silicon solar cells.
