The world market leader in CD/ROM and DVD replication lines, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES announces sales of 90.2 million DM for the third quarter ending 9/30/99. Revenues of 211 million DM were attained in the first nine months of 1999, an increase of 57.4% over the previous year and exceeding total revenues for 1998. Net income of 25 million DM in the first nine months exceeds the prior year's earnings by 13.5%.
The demand for all product groups, including the STREAMLINE CD-R replication line introduced to the market earlier in 1999, resulted in orders totaling 494 million DM this year, clearly exceeding all expectations. Order intake was 229 million DM in the 3rd quarter alone, raising the order backlog by end of the quarter to 335 million DM.
