SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES has attained the world market leadership position for optical data storage replication equipment. According to its commitment as full system-supplier, SINGULUS exhibits a full portfolio of Targets and Masks at the Media-Tech Expo 2004 in Frankfurt in May.
The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Target Group supplies high purity materials for all Applications in the Optical Disc Industry. The range of products, original Masks and original Targets for all SINGULUS Metallizers as well as Metallizers from other manufacturers, is adapted to meet the require-ments of numerous areas such as CD, CD-R, DVD-R and DVD 9, CD±RW and DVD±RW. The Targets are manufactured to the original design; their geometry is optimized to cathode configuration for maximum Target utilization.
The Target materials range from Aluminium and Copper-Aluminium up to Silicon, Silver and Gold. They meet highest quality criteria like corrosion resistance and high target lifetime. Masks consist of Copper or special Copper Alloys and guarantee very high adhesion to sputtered materials and reliable production processes. Split outer Masks stabilize the process and ease cleaning after sputtering with different materials except Aluminium.
Thanks to precision machining and special surface treatment under constant quality control Targets and Masks are of high and consistent quality. With Targets and Masks directly from the equipment supplier customers benefit from continuous improvements and new developments in existing systems.
