Memory-Tech Japan decides for BLULINE II from SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES

Tokyo/Kahl, August 02, 2010 - SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS) announces the conclusion of a sales contract for a BLULINE II replication system with Memory-Tech Corporation, Japan's largest independent disc manufacturer.

With over 20 years of experience in optical disc manufacturing, Memory-Tech supports its customers as a leading provider of digital contents. In the last years, the company has been transforming itself into an integrated provider, offering services in all aspects of pre-recorded media.

SINGULUS is the only source providing reliable mastering and replication systems for Dual Layer Blu-ray Discs. The SINGULUS Blu-ray Disc production system BLULINE II is designed for the economical production of Blu-ray Discs (BD ROM Single Layer and Dual Layer - BD ROM SL/DL), according to the specifications issued by the BDA.

All production steps from molding, cooling, metallizing, wet-embossing, lacquering and UV curing to quality inspection are incorporated in the BLULINE II. Background Memory-Tech Corporation
In 1985, Memory-Tech Corporation has been established as a joint venture by Mitsubishi Corporation and Tokyo Denka Corporation. The company has expanded its business and became Japan's largest independent disc manufacturer in the following years. In 1997, Memory-Tech became a Microsoft certified CD-ROM manufacturer, and in 2000 it started the manufacturing of DVD-ROM. In 2008 Memory-Tech started BD production.
