Kahl am Main, May 15, 2008 - MEDIA-TECH Expo, the largest optical media trade event in the world, took place in Frankfurt from May 6 – 8, 2008. Numerous visitors from all over the world came to find out more about new developments in the optical disc industry.
At the MEDIA-TECH Expo, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) clinched a large number of orders for its SKYLINE CD production systems, SPACELINE DVD production systems and also further Blu-ray production systems. The combined value of these orders is around € 15 million.
SINGULUS' dominant market position specifically for Blu-ray disc replication lines was further highlighted at Frankfurt. Interest was focused on the BLULINE II from SINGULUS, the only machine for Blu-ray discs to be exhibited at the show that is designed for the production of Blu-ray discs with a storage capacity of 50 Gbytes. It attracted a stream of visitors throughout the entire show.
A very high visitor rate was registered over all three days of the exhibition, with interest in project business featuring large. Further interesting projects give rise to expectations of a busy period following the show.
