SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Presents Its New DECOLINE at the “K 2007
July 12, 2007

Kahl am Main, July 12, 2007 - SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS) will present its new DECOLINE for the production and finishing of three-dimensional plastic surfaces for the first time at the world’s largest plastics fair "K 2007" in Dusseldorf from October 24 to October 31, 2007. The machine, developed in cooperation with Balda AG,  a global supplier for the mobile phone industry, is currently the only production line on the market which completely integrates the injection molding, metallizing and painting in one production cycle while automatically moving the parts through all process steps.

The production line will be shown in Hall 08b, Booth No. 8bF37 at the "K2007. Attendees of the fair will be able to see for themselves the advantages of the integrated machine concept.

Dr. Steffen Runkel, Technical Director Optical Coatings of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES, comments: “We are convinced that our DECOLINE will attract a high level of interest in Dusseldorf. The integration of the individual processing steps into a complete production line is surely unique. For us, the presentation at the K in Dusseldorf marks an important milestone in the market launch of the new machine concept.

In October 2006 SINGULUS entered into a collaboration with Balda for the development of a line for the production and finishing of plastic surfaces. Based on the SINGULUS 3 DS metallization machine, SINGULUS developed a product line which integrates several processing steps from the injection molding of the parts to the metallization and the application of anti-scratch finishes in one production cycle. All production processes are completely automated. The line concept is useful in the cosmetics packaging, appliances and automobile industries, among others, as the modular machine concept enables a flexible response to the different requirements of various industrial sectors.

SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES will present at the “K 2007 in Dusseldorf, Hall 08b, Booth No. 8bF37 from October 24-31, 2007.
