Kahl am Main, June 25, 2008. SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) received a large order for 15 DVD lines for machines of the SPACELINE II type from a well-known European replicator for its European sites a couple of days ago.
 
With the new order SINGULUS further extends its leading position in the segment for prerecorded DVD replication lines. With a global market share of more than 65 % and a significant lead over the second largest player in the market, the company is undisputed market leader in this equipment segment.
 
The growth for the DVD is unbroken. According to the Bundesverband audiovisueller Medien e.V. (bvv) (German Association for audio-visual media) sales in the DVD market increased significantly by 7 % in Germany in the first quarter 2008. The most successful movie was „Ratatouille“ followed by „Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix“ and „Night at the Museum“.
 
Also other regions such as China, many Arabic countries as well as Latin America are expected to grow their DVD sales.
