Kahl am Main, August 17, 2010 – With STANGL’s VITRUM system, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES (SINGULUS) is presenting a machine which can process thin film solar glass substrates with lengths between 1,200 and 2,600 mm, and a width range of 600 to 2,200 mm. The modular design allows the easy integration of different process steps according to the required applications at CIS or Cd-Te technology. The standard configurations with a small footprint and a minimized CAPEX are adapted to the standard glass sizes for thin film cell applications, started by R&D substrates, up to 2,600 x 2,200 mm jumbo size.
Depending on the applications, different processing solutions (standard dipping processes, spray under immersion or soft etch) can be chosen by the customer, to guarantee best and state of the art process results. Besides the low cost of ownership, the main advantages of VITRUM are the exceptionally high throughput and the modular, highly integrated design. Moreover, high availability with an uptime of more than 98% and the integration of automatic dosage and mixing systems are important features of STANGL’s wet process cleaning machine. The system is offering a wide range of options, like in-line concentration measurement system or a separator removal bar to adapt the VITRUM to customers’ requirements and applications.
Important for most of the customers are the metal free-execution and complete touchless processing of the substrates through the entire machine.
Meet SINGULUS and STANGL in Valencia at the 25th EU PVSEC, Hall H2, Booth B11, on September 6-9, 2010 and see what we have to offer in the new solar age.
