SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES is presenting the new inline DVDR replication system STREAMLINE II at the Media-Tech Expo 2004 in Frankfurt this year in May. The new line is designed for the economic mass production of the very popular formats DVD+R and DVD-R.
The experience as a full line supplier for optical discs combined with the knowledge about mastering and injection molding technology led to the new STREAMLINE II with a fast downstream dry cycle time of less than 3.5 seconds.
Extensive use of servo drives all over the machine guarantees reliable and stable operation with reproducible results and a high uptime during production.
The new STREAMLINE II system is available with two and also with three molding machines. Fast mechanical stabilization of the substrate with spin-coolers, an integrated process air conditioning unit, a fast and homogeneous IR drying station with tilt control, uniform sputtering, annealing, a thermally balanced bonding station and tilt controlled UV curing ensure a high yield and superior disc quality for actual (8x) and future (16x) recording speeds.
The integration of additional process steps for future products like DVD+R DL is prepared as well.
SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES is running the STREAMLINE II at the Media-Tech in Frankfurt on booth E 48/49 in Hall 3 with two molding machines in the DVDR version.
